Mónica Cruz, MS, CCC, SLP

Bilingual Speech & Language Clinical Director

Mónica graduated in 2010 with a master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University. She is a member of both the Florida Licensed Speech and Language Pathologist Board and the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

For over twenty years, Monica has dedicated her professional career to teaching and working with special needs children, more specifically those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Monica has focused all these years on working with behavioral challenges, as she was previously trained and worked as a certified behavior therapist for several years prior to her specialized focus on speech and language pathology.

Today, Mónica is the owner of Speech Pro and Associates, Inc and continues practicing speech and language pathology and specializing in seeing clients of all ages with developmental disorders and delays, specifically working with individuals with autism. In additon, Monica serves as Vicepresident at Self Learning Academy, a 501 c3 nonprofit focusing on ensuring every behaviorally challenged child has access to the support needed regardless of whether a formal diagnosis has been made.
