Children's Therapy Services
At Self Learning Center we are committed to
clinical excellence, ethical practice, cultural respect, and fostering a collaborative environment
where every learner can thrive. Our therapy services are focused on supporting
individuals in our community facing developmental challenges such as
autism, ADD/ADHD, and other behavioral or social delays.
Our team, comprised of bilingual (English/Spanish) board-certified professionals, will create and execute a medically necessary plan that is adjusted as needed. Children’s progress is continuously monitored using evidence-based assessment tools to ensure that their development is on track and that real progress is promoted.
At SLC, we also help families learn to better access and coordinate school and community support. We provide families with new skills with which to improve the outcomes or quality of life for their children and themselves.
In-Home Therapy
We bring ABA therapy into the comfort of your home, working with your child to develop essential skills that they naturally use in their most familiar environment.
Collaboration with Schools
We work closely with schools to ensure your child’s progress continues seamlessly across all settings, whether at home, in the classroom or the playground.
Social Skills
We provide support toward reaching a developmentally appropriate level of social competency such that each individual/family leaving our program is able to have a greater quality of life.
Parent & Caregiver Training
Learn ABA tips and techniques to be an active participant in your child’s journey. This will give you confidence and ensure consistent support every step of the way.
Speech & Language Therapy
Our board-certified speech and language team focused on improving receptive and expressive language skills, vocabulary, and articulation of targeted phonemes, as well as the acquisition and implementation of pragmatic language skills.
Occupational Therapy
Our board-certified occupational therapy team works towards the improvement of self-help, adaptative, sensory motor skills areas, balance, and coordination to assist the individual in control and maneuvering within the environment
Behavior Therapy
By understanding your child’s behaviors and motivations, our board-certified behavior therapy team creates research-based strategies for your child to teach important skills based on the principles of ABA using a play-based approach that makes learning fun!
