Before curriculum, art, tinkering time, outdoor classroom, and play based learning, we make sure that we are keeping your kids safe at all times. We want to make sure that we are best serving your needs and the needs of your children. Trusting us with your most precious treasure is a big responsibility – one that we feel deserves our time and dedication to ensure that you know just how safe and loved your little ones are going to be at Self Learning Center.
Internal Video Monitoring
Center directors observe the activity in each classroom by video so they can mentor and support teachers while also ensuring policies and procedures are being properly implemented.
Indoor Sprinkler System
State-of-the-art sprinkler systems and routine fire drills help ensure safety so every child, staff member and teacher know exactly what to do in the event of an emergency.
Silent Alarm
Silent alarm can be engaged at a moment's notice. Our procedures are reinforced through regularly scheduled emergency drills.
Emergency Plan
We have safety plans in place in the event of an emergency. We know that should an event occur that we will be well prepared to handle it calmly and effectively.
Sanitation Protocol
We prioritize keeping a clean and healthy environment so that your kids can come to school every day and not miss out on any of the great opportunities we provide for them.
CPR / First Aid
90% of our teachers and staff are CPR and First Aid trained. This helps to ensure that your child is in thoroughly capable hands and that the people your child encounters on a daily basis are well certified to help keep them safe.
